St Finbarr's is a wonderful, vibrant school community where every child is valued and known by name. Our school is situated on three hectares of land surrounded by the heathland of Arakwal National Park and Tallows Beach.
The school recently opened three new classroom blocks that maximise our beautiful local environment. We are just three minutes from the Byron town centre on the road south to Bangalow and Lennox Head.
At St Finbarr's we provide excellent educational programmes in the Catholic Tradition for girls and boys from Kinder to Year Six. St Finbarr's has a proud history as a vital arm of the Holy Spirit Parish and forms part of the Lismore Diocesan School System.
Our school is built around a warm and inclusive community where children, parents, friends and staff work together to provide a secure, welcoming and happy learning environment. Our students experience a dynamic curriculum that engages them in the process of life-long learning.
The school has an enrolment of just under 200 students with small classes that enable our talented staff to address the needs of each child. In addition, our Parent Forum provides a valuable structure for harnessing the skills of parents and enabling them to work with staff towards shared educational goals.
